How to Add Audio to Your Squarespace Blog Posts Using Listen2it

This article shows you how to add the Listen2It Player to all your blog posts and convert them into audio in Squarespace.

This is a workflow that looks something like this - if you want to add the Listen2It Player to all the blog posts in your Squarespace site, you have to copy the code snippet from the Listen2It Dashboard and embed it into your Squarespace blog page settings which will embed the player to all posts.

Let’s look at this workflow in steps -

Copy the Listen2It Player code snippet

After you’ve successfully logged into the Listen2It Dashboard, head on over to the ‘Installation’ section and copy the code snippet for the player

Paste the snippet in your sites blog post pages settings

Now head over to the ‘Pages’ section in Squarespace and select the Blog settings icon in the page settings.

Now go to the advanced settings tab in the blog settings and select “Post Blog Item Code Injection”

And Paste the snippet here and save and close the settings

After you’ve published the updated settings, the player will appear in all your blog posts.

Audio will be automatically generated when the Play button is hit for the first time.

Since Squarespace allows adding custom code to the end of the page only, the integration will work best with "Static" and "Floating" player types. Rest of the features should work the same
