How to Add Audio to Your Joomla Blog Posts Using Listen2it

This article shows you how to add the Listen2It Player to all your blog posts and convert them into audio in Joomla.

Please follow the following steps to add Listen2It Player:

1. Copy the Listen2It Player code snippet

2. Change the default editor in your Joomla site

a. Click on Global under the Configuration

b. Change the default editor to CodeMirror and click on “Save & close”

3. Create a new module in your Joomla site

a. Click on Module → New → Custom

b. Paste the code snippet copied from Listen2It, give a title to your widget, and save.

4. Add the player module to your articles

a. Add a new article or edit the existing article and click on the module

b. Select the player module created in the previous step and save the article

It's all done now.

The audio player should now be visible on your blog.

Audio will be automatically generated when the Play button is hit for the first time.
