AI Voices
AI Voices
Q: How many AI voices are available, and what languages are supported?
A: Listen2It offers 900+ realistic AI voices across 140+ languages and dialects. You can browse the full library from the "Select a voice" dialog, which is accessible by clicking on the voice name in any content block.
Q: How do I change the voice for a content block?
A: Click on the voice name displayed at the top of any content block (e.g., "Luis Rivera, English (United States)"). This opens the "Select a voice" dialog where you can browse, preview, and choose a different voice.
Q: Can I filter voices by language, gender, or quality?
A: Yes. The "Select a voice" dialog includes filter options for Language, Gender (All Genders, Male, Female), Quality, and a checkbox to show only voices that support Voice Styles. Use these filters to narrow down your search.
Q: What are "Voice Styles"?
A: Some voices support multiple speaking styles, indicated by a "Styles" badge next to the voice name. These allow the same voice to speak in different emotional tones or delivery modes, such as conversational, narrative, or formal. You can filter for voices with styles using the "Voice Styles" checkbox in the filters panel.
Q: What are "Premium" voices?
A: Voices marked with a "Premium" badge are higher-quality voices that may require a paid plan. You can identify them by the yellow "Premium" label shown next to the voice name in the selection dialog.
Q: What is a "Cloned" voice?
A: Cloned voices are custom voices created from a voice sample. In the "Select a voice" dialog, you can access your cloned voices under the "My Cloned Voices" tab. Cloned voices are labeled with a "Cloned" badge.
Q: What are "Saved Profiles"?
A: Saved Profiles are voice configurations you have saved previously for quick reuse. You can access them from the "Saved Profiles" tab in the "Select a voice" dialog.
Q: Can I apply a voice change to all blocks at once?
A: Yes. In the "Select a voice" dialog, check the "Apply to all blocks" checkbox before clicking "Choose Voice." This will apply the selected voice to every content block in your project.
Q: What is the "Exaggeration" setting on a content block?
A: Exaggeration controls the expressiveness or emotional intensity of the AI voice. The default value is 0.3. A higher value makes the voice more expressive and dramatic, while a lower value keeps it more neutral and flat. You can adjust this per block using the dropdown next to the voice name.
Content Blocks
Q: What is a content block?
A: A content block is a section of your audio project where you type text that will be converted to speech. Each block has its own voice, exaggeration setting, and word count. You can have multiple blocks in a single project, each with a different voice.
Q: How do I add a new content block?
A: Click the "+ Add a block" button located below your existing blocks. A new empty block will appear with the current default voice settings.
Q: How do I delete a content block?
A: Click the red trash icon on the right side of the block you want to remove.
Q: How do I preview a single block's audio?
A: Click the play (triangle) icon on the right side of the block. This will preview just that block's audio without building the full project.
Q: Why am I getting an error when I try to build my audio?
A: If any block is empty (contains no text), you will see an error message saying "Block 1 is empty. Please add content to all blocks." Make sure every block has text entered before clicking Build.
Building and Downloading Audio
Q: How do I generate the audio for my project?
A: Click the "Build" button in the bottom center of the editor. This processes all your content blocks and produces the final audio track. Make sure all blocks have content before building.
Q: How do I download my finished audio?
A: Click the "Download" button in the top right corner of the screen once your audio has been built.
